Advocacy Day

PSBA/PASA/PAIU Advocacy Day at the Capitol

Due to concerns about COVID-19 and group gatherings that could impact school districts across the Commonwealth, PASA, PSBA and PAIU are postponing Advocacy Day from its scheduled date of March 23. We believe it is our collective responsibility to ensure that education leaders are not exposed to COVID-19. We are hopeful that the current threat of a pandemic event has passed by the newly rescheduled date. Watch for updated information.

NEW DATE: May 11
8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Join us in Harrisburg to support public education!

All school leaders are invited to attend Advocacy day at the State Capitol in Harrisburg. The Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA), PASA and the PA Association of Intermediate Units (PAIU) are partnering together to strengthen our advocacy impact.

The day will begin with a continental breakfast and issue briefing prior to visits with legislators to discuss critical issues affecting public education. Registrants will receive talking points, materials and leave-behinds to use with their meetings.  Staff will be stationed at a table in the Main Rotunda during the day to answer questions and provide assistance.

Registration: There is no cost to register. Your legislator appointments will be coordinated with the completion of your registration. PSBA is handling all registration.
