About the Position:
Seeking a dynamic educator to lead its school system beginning July 1, 2018 or thereafter. The District, the largest in Sussex County, serves approximately 3000 pre-K-12 students in six schools and supports its educational programs with a budget of $66 million. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished and visionary educational leader to develop passionate, resilient, lifelong learners in our beautiful northwestern New Jersey community. Qualifications: NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility is required; three years Central Office experience is required; previous successful teaching experience is required; previous experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent is preferred. Successful candidate shall demonstrate expertise in strategic and long-range planning; collaborative decision-making; personnel management, including effective evaluation and staff development; ensuring student welfare and safety; and knowledge of NJ school law; extraordinary skills in motivating, inspiring, and building collaboration in all stakeholders. About the Position:
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Board to create an effective partnership that leads the school district to inspire and empower others. It is anticipated that the new superintendent will be elected in June or July and will assume full responsibilities of the superintendency on or about Sept. 1, 2018. Cooperative Educational Services Executive Searches will facilitate the search. About the District: Situated in the heart of Central New Jersey. Diverse population of 3,900 students in seven schools. District provides a solid foundation in early learning experiences that not only support academic success, but also foster collaborative play and social interaction skills needed in today’s global society. Elementary students develop an understanding of their own individual learning styles and use this information to enhance teaching and learning. District currently has a 1:1 laptop program, where all students in grades 6-12 receive a Chromebook. About the Position:
The Randolph Public Schools Director of Finance & Operations is a member of the Central Administration Leadership Team and is responsible for the development, implementation and supervision of the budget process, intergovernmental operation, delivery of materials, all grants, building operations and construction, transportation, and food services in conformance with policies established by the School Committee and with the ultimate purpose of providing support to the educational program to the maximum extent possible. Randolph is a dynamic community of approximately 32,000 people situated perfectly just south of Boston. It possesses the comforts and tranquility of a small New England town and the vibrant fabric of a diverse community with great access to transportation networks.
