Part 3 – January 11-12: Professional & Community Leadership
PASA members who register for one or more of these workshops will be invited to a monthly Listen and Sharing Virtual Series to provide additional information and guidance critical to new superintendents’ success. These sessions will be scheduled on months between and after Part 1-3 Academies and provide opportunities to stay connected with colleagues you meet in the program.
ABOUT THE SERIES -
Part 3 - “Professional and Community Leadership”
Professional and community leadership is about establishing a school community in which all learners grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively. This Academy focuses on effective communications and collaborative practices to develop a community of educators in which professional growth is ongoing, to maximize meaningful and mutually beneficial parent and community engagement, and to promote effective advocacy strategies to ensure the future viability of public education.
*PIL CREDIT* Each two-day session of the Academy is approved for 25 hours of PIL/Act 48 credit, predicated upon program attendance and completion of the embedded activities.
Academy Schedule
Check-in on Day 1 at 8:30 a.m.
Program begins at 9:00 a.m.
Program concludes at approximately 2 p.m. on Day 2
Includes continental breakfast, lunch and reception/dinner on Day 1, continental breakfast and lunch on Day 2
REGISTRATION:
$280 for PASA members
$330 for nonmembers.
