Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction with a strong emphasis on literacy and mathematics as well as an understanding of differentiated instructional strategies and positive behavior support practices.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) by collaborating with the IEP team to addresses a given student's academic, social-emotional, and behavioral goals.
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment in which students with emotional or behavioral needs are able to thrive socially and academically.
