Situated in rural Central Pennsylvania, 30 miles east of State College, the
Mifflin County School District has an opening for the position of Chief Academic Officer K-12 with the start date of July 1, 2022, or sooner. This is a cabinet-level position within the central office administration. The District is comprised of approximately 4,800 students grades K-12, with approximately 650 full-time employees.
Salary will be regionally competitive and will be negotiable, contingent on the candidate’s experience and ability to meet board qualifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Having a superintendent’s letter of eligibility
- Understanding and experience in the development of curriculum
- Understanding and experience working with various assessments
- Understanding of planning, facilitating and delivering quality professional development
- Understanding and experience in data-driven decision-making and leadership
