Successful leadership teams have a shared belief that they have the real power to enact change. This 2022 book, Collective Leader Efficacy: Strengthening Instructional Leadership Teams by Peter M. DeWitt, delves deeply into the research and tools for creating a team of learning leaders who share the conviction that they can and will positively impact student learning and well-being. Join a community of superintendents and IU executive directors from across the Commonwealth in knowledge creation and knowledge sharing conversations. Use the materials within this program to facilitate a book study with your leadership team for the promotion of collective leader efficacy within your organization.

Instructure Canvas (Canvas) will host program information.
About the book...
“Developing collective efficacy has a powerful impact on leaders, teachers, and students, but it is hard to implement.  DeWitt teases out the key skill sets and mindsets and addresses the critics, showing how actively implementing a collective culture leads to higher levels of satisfaction and greater impact on students and maximizes implementation of success across the school.  This is not only the how-to book, but also one grounded firmly in the evidence, and a pleasure to read.”  - John Hattie, Emeritus Laureate Professor Melbourne Graduate School of Education
