Racism & Inequities

Actions for Eliminating Racism and Inequities in Our Schools
Wednesday, August 5, 10 a.m. - 12 noon

Due to a technology issue, only 100 members were able to access today's webinar, even though our capacity was 500.  All members will receive via email the link to a recording to the webinar. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Racism is a long-recognized scar on the soul of our nation that continues to inflict pain and misery on too many of our minority citizens, especially black citizens, as was evidenced by the recent death of George Floyd. – Dr. Mark DiRocco, PASA Executive Director

As part of PASA’s mission to cultivate and sustain Pennsylvania school system leaders, we want to be part of the solution for ending racism and inequities within our schools. Acts of racism, on top of the lack of access to resources experienced by many of our students during the closing of our school buildings, are of critical concern. Pennsylvania school leaders must be part of the solution.

This webinar will feature a panel of educational leaders who will share their insights and considerations for school leaders for the upcoming school year, with an eye to the future.
