Women's Caucus Annual Conference

2022 Conference
Leveraging Support
for Social Emotional Well-Being

 May 22-24
 Hotel Hershey

In Pennsylvania, prior to COVID-19, nearly 45% of school-aged children experienced one or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). While data on the effects of COVID-19 continues to be analyzed, district and school leaders are reminded daily of its effects on their students, staff, and themselves. This conference is a necessity for district and school leaders who want to learn more about trauma and the creation of conditions and practices and implementation for the social and emotional well-being of all learners (students, teachers and leaders) in their schools.  Attend to better understand the following:
• What are the signs and symptoms of trauma?
• How does exposure to trauma affect the brain?
• What systemic approaches integrate academic, social, and emotional learning across all school contexts?
• How can I develop the capacity of and support my staff?
