About the Position:
Approximately 3,100 students through seven schools.  For additional information about the school district, please visit: www.nmrsd.org. Seeking a leader who possesses a high level of educational expertise, strong communications skills, and the desire to work collaboratively with a team of highly talented professionals. The successful candidate must be a dynamic leader with a deep appreciation of the importance of helping students acquire 21st Century skills that will enable them to participate in a highly competitive global community. The new leader should have a record of successful administrative experience at the building and/or central office level. Previous classroom experience in a public school setting is preferred. An advanced graduate degree is required, and a doctorate is preferred. Licensure as a superintendent of schools in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure is required.  Multi-year contract with a regionally competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience along with a generous benefits package.  The starting date is July 1, 2018.

About the Position:
Seeking an experienced and proven educational leader. Award-winning high school of about seven hundred students in Grades 9-12, utilizing a comprehensive curriculum with coursework at the Advanced Placement, honors and college preparatory levels.  The Principal, with the support of an administrative team including two deans and an evaluation team supervisor, shall be the educational administrator and manager of his/her school. The Principal shall supervise the operation and management of the school and school property, subject to the supervision and direction of the Superintendent.  In accordance with district personnel policies, applicable statutes and budgetary parameters, and subject to the approval of the Superintendent, the High Principal shall be responsible for the employment decisions regarding all teachers, instructional or administrative aides, and other personnel assigned to the school. Through the application of administrative leadership, management and supervisory skills, the Principal shall organize, support and provide a learning environment conducive to the maximum educational growth of each student. Candidates must have the following qualifications pertaining to administrative and instructional leadership, student management, and community relationships: certification as a high school principal in Massachusetts; minimum of five years teaching experience; demonstrated leadership in staff and curriculum development; minimum of a master’s degree with specialization in educational administration or curriculum and supervision; administrative and/or supervisory experience; such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or School Committee may find appropriate and acceptable. Multi-year contract with a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 per year (commensurate with qualifications and experience) as well as a generous benefits package. The starting date is on or about July 1, 2018.
