In-Dues Professional Liability Insurance:
PASA has invested in an in-dues professional liability plan benefit to provide members with added peace of mind. Through our partnership with Trust for Insuring Educators (TIE), members have access to professional liability protection should their district or school lack sufficient coverage for legal defense needs. (See the Enclosed PASA In-Dues Professional Liability Plan flyer for additional details.)
Expanded Professional Learning Opportunities:
PASA’s catalog of learning opportunities continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of today’s school leaders. We continue to expand the Superintendents Academy Impact Series, which builds upon the foundational lessons of the New Superintendents Academy program. This advanced series equips school leaders with strategic tools to drive coherence, innovation, and excellence within their districts. New sessions this year include Comprehensive Planning, Multi-Year Budgeting, and Strategic and Effective Communications.
In addition, PASA is offering several summer workshops to enhance summer learning, including the Leading for Impact Workshops - June 17 and 18, and Special Education Workshops - August 5 and 6. Register Today!
Launch of the PASA Career and Technical Education Caucus:
PASA recently convened a group of career and technical education leaders, superintendents, and education partners from across the Commonwealth to launch the PASA Career & Technical Education (CTE) Caucus. This new caucus represents an important step forward in strengthening collaboration and leadership around CTE and career-connected learning in Pennsylvania. The CTE Caucus serves as a collaborative forum for leaders to align efforts, share expertise, and advance a unified vision for career-connected education.
Continued Access to Educational Media:
PASA members continue to receive access to significantly discounted subscriptions through partnerships with three major media organizations: Education Week, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. These exclusive member benefits provide nearly $500 in savings compared to standard rates.
Legal Services to Commissioned Officers:
PASA remains committed to supporting members through legal services and guidance related to Commissioned Officer contracts led by General Counsel, Robert Tomaine.
Join Us at Leadership Forum: As part of your membership renewal, we encourage you to register for PASA’s annual Leadership Forum, taking place March 31–April 2, 2027 at The Penn Stater in State College. This premier event brings together educational leaders from across Pennsylvania for professional learning, networking, and collaboration.
