Dr. Mark DiRocco- Executive Director
Mark began his tenure as PASA's Executive Director in January 2017.  Previously, he served as Superintendent of the Lewisburg Area School District and was the 2016 Pennsylvania Superintendent of the Year.

Virginia Montgomery - General Counsel
Virginia began her service as PASA’s General Counsel in October 2011. She oversees PASA's Legal Services Program and provides direct legal advice and representation to chief school administrators regarding public education employment issues in accordance with PASA's Legal Services Program. Prior to joining PASA, Virginia served Pennsylvania state government in both legal and policy positions, including as Senior Counsel and DIrector of Teacher Preparation and Certification in the Pennsylvania Department of Education; legal counsel and Acting Director of Equal Employment Opportunity int he Governor's Office of Administration; and Assistant General Counsel in the Governor's Office of General Counsel. Virginia also worked as a staff attorney for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Virginia graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, American Government and received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Temple University School of Law.

Dr. Sherri Smith - Director of Professional Development
Sherri joined the staff in May 2022, having most recently served as Deputy Secretary of Elementary and Secondary Education for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Prior to that, she served as the  superintendent of the Lower Dauphin SD for 14 years. In addition, Sherri served as PASA President in 2014-15 and as a member of the Board of Governors. Sherri was the recipient of the Leadership in Public Education Award in 2017, one of the PASA Awards of Achievement.

Act 48, professional development programs
Barbara Jewett Assistant to the Executive Director
Barbara joined the staff in November 1997.  Her responsibilities include assisting with governance and operations, managing communications, including the monthly newsletter, website and legislative information & updates, and coordinating association services and programs. Prior to joining PASA, Barbara worked as a legislative assistant for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, legislative assistant for the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association and as a high school English/Communications teacher.

Anna Maria Stankoczi - Administrative Assistant
Anna Maria joined the staff in September 2021 in a full-time position, assisting the Executive Director, Legal Counsel, and PASA staff with office operations. Among her duties are general office support, processing membership, providing assistance in meeting/event planning, processing program and workshop registrations, and assisting the Executive Director with meeting planning for and communications with PASA committees and the Board of Governors. Anna Maria, a certified paralegal, earned a BA in English Literature & a Certificate of Teaching from Montclair State University, NJ.

Linda McKay - Deputy General Counsel
Linda began her service as PASA's Deputy General Counsel in January 2013. She provides direct legal advice and representation to chief school administrators regarding public education employment issues in accordance with PASA's Legal Services Program, under the direction of the PASA General Counsel. Prior to joining PASA, Linda served as the Director of Mediation for the Office of Dispute Resolution; as Assistant Counsel in the Pennsylvania Department of Education; and Linda also worked in private practice. Linda graduated, cum laude, from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts, and she received her Juris Doctor form Dickinson School of Law.
Deborah Banks - Administrative Support/Financial Assistant
Deb joined the staff in September 2017 as a part-time administrative assistant and in 2021 became a part-time financial assistant. 
Connie R. Kindler - PASA Consultant for Professional Development
Connie works as a consultant with the PASA Professional Development Committee and PASA staff to design the association's program of professional development. Connie previously served as the superintendent in the Camp Hill School District and also worked in the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
